Today's outfit was a little bit more classic and relaxed. Dark denim jeans, white t-shirt, light denim button down shirt, cowboy boots and loose hair. It's Friday!!!

La femme garcon.
This long cardigan over short skirt look is absolutely amazing and sexy.
I love women that can walk thru life without the need to carry a purse.
Love the retro look and combination of colors. Very harmonious.
Simple and chic. I think there might be a trend with this pants.

RUNWAY BEAUTY LOOKS
I found some beauty looks from this September runway shows. Some of them I like, some of them I'm not sure (like two tone nails) and some of them I hate. But the ones I hate, I'm not gonna show them, I'm just gonna keep it to myself.
Clean twist at preen.
This is an interesting hairdo, one of those you can't quite decide if you like them or not. I think you need to have a very pretty face to pull it off. Or at least a very interesting face. I think YSL did this last season.
Hot pink pouts at Whit.
Always cute.
Two tone nails at Parkchoonmoo.
I'm not really convinced about the two tone nails for an everyday look. Specially this ones that make your nails look dirty. Perhaps something tonal like pink on red or something like that. Call me conservative, I don't care. I wont have my nails looking dirty.
Fishtails ponytails at Marchesa.
I would love to try this look for an evening out. But not just out for dinner and drinks, something a bit more glamorous like a black tie event.
Soft, peachy-pink lips and eyes at Ralph Lauren.
Cute and fresh but just a bit to girly and romantic for my taste. Makes me just want to slap them in the face hahaha. They kind of look like they need to snap out of it!
Brushed out kinks at Rebecca Minkoff.
I loooove this hairdo!!! Maybe I'll try it for my TV show hahaha or maybe not. Whatever I'll try it.
Neon toe polish at Zero + Maria Cornejo.
Ok, I know I said I was going to keep nasty comments to myself but of course I was lying. I couldn't help myself. I've already tried this and let me tell you something BAD IDEA!!! My toes looked like martians. HORRIBLE!!! I had to go back the next day to get my nails done some other color. I don't know what possessed me that day, I guess I was just to tired to make any good decisions. I'm sorry Maria Cornejo, I love you, I'm always saying you're my faaaaaaaavorite designer but this is a big NO for me.
Interwoven braids and twists at Gretchen Jones.
Oh my, I love braids, all kinds of them. I would definitely try this to go to a party or black tie event. Love it!
Sharp-edged drama at Malan Breton.
Dramatic makeup? Always in! Always gorgeous! Always glamorous.
Twenties glam at Joy Cioci.
This is something I've always wanted to try. I would have to cut my hair though. Maybe I'll do it next spring summer.
Loose kinks at Oscar de la Renta.
Sexy. For some reason this reminds me of the movie Splash.
Alright! That was it! Until next!

CAROLINA HERRERA: A SUBLIME EXPERIENCE!!!
Very few experiences will give you that feeling of wellness and tranquility like the one you get when you enter a high end luxury goods store. Everything around you transports you to a world of fantasy and beauty that makes you feel simply amazing. The smell, a combination of fresh leather, wood and jazmin. The music, at times smooth at times seductive. No matter how horrible your day was, experiences like this make everything in the world seem better even if only for a mere moment. True luxury Is all about the experience, more than the item itself. This is exactly what world famous Venezuelan fashion designer Carolina Herrera want you to feel whenever you enter one of her CH by Carolina Herrera boutiques. As soon as those glass doors open you immediately enter the world of Carolina Herself, everything she is is in a way represented in everything you see, smell, hear and touch. To feel it you must live it.
On wednesday I was cordially invited to attend the grand opening of the first CH by Carolina Herrera store in Guatemala, located in Plaza Fontabella. I was greeted with Moët & Chandon Champagne and sweet chocolates, what more can a girl ask for. My experience was of course sublime. I was having a hectic day but in a matter of micro seconds the people at CH made me feel like nothing in the world mattered more than what I was living at that precise moment. Of course I don't need to say how incredible all her handbags, shoes and accessories are, you already know how fabulous they are. What I want you to do is get yourself ASAP to CH by Carolina Herrera and try to have the same experience I had. If you've already been there congratulations and if you haven't then why wait?
Here are some images for you to indulge yourself in. Sit down, relax and let yourself be seduced by the CH lifestyle.
With CH you can't just have one!!!
CH with you on a Sunday morning at the park reading your favorite newspaper and enjoying the scenery of people passing by.
CH with you on a Friday night at the theater.
CH with you on a night in the town.
CH with you every day!!!
The CH store at Fontabella. Wonderful isn't it?

THINK PINK!!!
Just recently I read on nymag.com that "The Little Pink Dress" is spring-summer 2012 new "Little Black Dress". This year's spring-summer was all about the LWD (little white dress), next year it's going to be the LPD. I have to admit I'm not very enthusiastic about it. Is this the fashion industries way of selling us pink dresses or do they want to make us all look like the cast of The Stepford Wives. They say perhaps this is fashion's own way of saying we all need to be a bit more optimistic about life. To tell you the truth, I'm not really convinced. In a way it reminds me of the movie Funny Face when Maggie Prescott (played by Kay Thompson) a famous fashion magazine editor (character inspired by the one and only Diana Vreeland) decides that from then on every woman should THINK PINK!
Check out the link to the video from the movie. Perhaps this is where the industry got their inspiration from.

Here are some images from the movie FUNNY FACE.
I don't know guys!!! I'll try to be a little bit more open minded about this whole pink thing. However I don't think I'll ever buy myself a pink dress. Not that I have anything against pink, this blog in fact is pink and of course there's some lovely ladies out there who look just darling in it, but it just isn't me. You come up with your own conclusions.

THE COOL PEOPLE AT FASHION WEEK
Every year in the month of September the city of New York turns out to be the best dressed city in the world. Everyone around is well dressed, not just fashion involved people but all the other commoners too. Looking at other people's own personal styles is one of the most inspirational things for me. Not that I want to copy but you can always borrow an idea or two from other very stylish people, there's nothing wrong with that.
Here's some of the cool people at NY Fashion Week.
A cool denim shirt always makes everything better.
I told you everyone living in NY for FW go around looking like fashionistas, even teachers.
Nothing like a couple of cool cats.
Fashion is all about being yourself.
I have to say this shade of blue is absolutely insane!!! I freakin love it!!! The other day I bought a dress this color at MNG and it makes my eyes and my hair pop out like no other color does.
Pay close attention to this dress because peplum dresses are a trend for spring-summer 2012. I'll talk more about that soon.
I love her style, she looks so relaxed but still chic. That little purple purse makes all the difference.
I once read an article that said: "Real working women don't wear high heels."
Here's proof of it. I think she looks wonderful. Very colorful and natural.
Of course I love this girl!!! She's a red head, plus those boots are insane!!! I WANT!!!
I chose Amanda because I think she looks fresh and chic. Like she didn't put that much thinking to her outfit when she woke up that morning (but we all know she probably did, or maybe she didn't, who knows).
Well this is my list of cool people from fashion week. You might've noticed there's one thing all this images have in common (ok, maybe more than just one) COLOR!!! In a way or another there's COLOR, no neutral from head to toe outfits!!! You see, everyone can wear color and so can you.
UNTIL NEXT!!!

HAIR MADNESS
Do you remember how I've been so obsessed about cutting my hair but never actually have the nerve to do it. Well today while I was browsing Garance Dore's famous and acclaimed blog http://www.garancedore.fr/ I found this picture of a girl that seems to be her friend because it's not the first time she photographs her. You see how much fun she looks like she's having!!! I bet if I cut my hair I would have as much fun as her. Do you think women with short hair have more fun than women with regular hairstyles? Or maybe it's because they're so confident about it. You can't cut your hair and go all about feeling awkward. Well, this is exactly the kind of haircut I would get, If I'm gonna cut it, I'm gonna do it all the way hahahaha But maybe I'm still gonna wait a couple of more months hahaha (I'm such a coward).
I don't know, what do you think?

MY DRESS LOOKS LIKE A TENT!!!
My mother brought me this dress from Spain last year. I love it, it's deconstructed and comfortable. However I know that whenever I wear it I always end up looking like a big tent hahaha. Here's proof of it (who cares I still love it).
