On Friday temperature dropped down a little bit, which is why I decided to wear my maxi dress with tights underneath and biker boots. I didn't feel like accessorizing on Friday but this dress would look pretty amazing with big earrings (keep them proportional to your size).

MONDAY OUTFIT: CLASSIC IVORY AND NAVY BLUE

I had been looking for the perfect navy blue blazer for a very long time until yesterday I was lucky enough to find one at Massimo Dutti. Thank God nothing fit me at Zara because otherwise I would've never set foot inside Massimo Dutti, for some reason I always end up at Massimo Dutti spending more money than I should but well worth spent. 

I have to admit that I'm not the kind of girl that accessorizes too much, I love accessories and find them gorgeous but I don't really like wearing too many of them, specially with such a classic outfit like this one, why go spoil it with unnecessary accessories. Here I'm wearing my outfit with nude flat sandals but I bet it would look pretty cool too with a pair of mid calf boots (BIKER!!!).

EVERYTHING AT C'SANTOS IS A STATEMENT

Can you believe that yesterday I went to C'Santos to look for material for this week's C'Santos post and I realized that they already ran out of the statement earrings that I showed you last week, all gone! That's why I always tell you that if you like something you see head yourself ASAP to C'Santos because things there don't last too long since everything there is absolutely gorgeous and with all the weddings and special events happening in Guatemala all year round, things are bound to go. 

This week I had in mind showing you some of their beautiful statement necklaces, when I got there yesterday I saw this particular line and thought they are just about the perfect necklace to wear this season, they're colorful, they're big, they're feminine, and they're fun, I even created an outfit idea for them.

SUMMER DRESSING 101

I'm a summer person, I love the hot weather, palm trees, ocean and the overall tropical feeling. I like wearing sandals, maxi dresses and very little clothes but how do we give outfits that extra special something when the heat starts to rise and clothes start to come off? Summer is the season to take advantage of those wonderful colorful clutches, chic panama hats, stackable bracelets, oversized sunglasses, statement necklaces and dangly earrings (and of course keep those toes clean and pretty with all the lovely summer colors). Summer is the time to show off that pretty figure of yours that you've been working so hard on and to be as feminine as you can be.  Here are some ideas on how to give that special twist to a regular summer dress. Accessories (and the way you wear them of course) is what differentiates you from other people that wear exactly the same thing you do. 

 If you don't like to accessorize that much, you can always take something off, but do try to give your summer outfits that little something extra that is going to make it special.

MAXI SATURDAY

Las week I bought this fabulous maxi dress at ATELIER, the cutest boutique in Guatemala. Since the weather today  is quite pleasurable, I decided to wear it to go for brunch with some friends.

Here's my maxi outfit of the day, hope you like it.

In case your wondering, the wedges I'm wearing are Massimo Dutti and I bought them on sale last week too!!! I'm loving them!!!
