SOLANGE-LOSING YOU

Good morning my dear Style by Red readers!!! This morning I'm so incredibly excited because tomorrow I fly to Miami for a week with my best friend Kika.  We are going to have fun, fun, fun. I get so excited when I think of the ocean. The fact that it's the first thing I'm gonna see when I wake up for a whole week has got me hallucinating already. 

Anyways... I thought I should help you brighten up your day with a little fashion (of course). Here's the fabulous Solange Knowles (who's style we loooove) in her video "Losing You."

Buenos días queridos lectores de Style by Red!!! Esta mañana me siento increíblemente emocionada (excitada no me parecía apropiado jajaja) porque mañana vuelo a Miami por una semana con mi mejor amiga Kika. Vamos a divertirnos, divertirnos, divertirnos. Me emociono demasiado cuando pienso en el océano. El hecho que es lo primero que mis ojos van a ver al despertar por una semana completa me tiene alucinando. 

En fin... Pensé que debería ayudarlos a animar su día con un poco de moda (pues claro, que otra cosa). He aquí la fabulosa Solange Knowles (cuyo estilo amamooooos) en su vídeo "Losing You."

2012 MET GALA RED CARPET LOOKS

Here are some of my favorite 2012 Met Gala red carpet looks... Even though some people considered Carey Mulligan and Karolina Kurkova to be two of the worst dressed at the Met Gala this year, sorry I liked them, I think they where bold without looking hideous like Emma Stone or Elizabeth banks. They are both beautiful girls that where brave enough to take a risk without going overboard. I think sometimes it's plain boooooooring to see everyone in OK pretty dresses. What would be of this events without the attention grabbers and risk takers? A lot of women looked beautiful but sometimes I get bored to see the same type of dresses everyone wears year after year. However they still look good. What would I wear If I where invited to go to a Met Gala? I would probably go minimalist like Rooney Mara, she's always my favorite.

She's more than Byoncé's little sister, she's a singer, she's got her own spin on R&B, she's one of New York's most in-demand DJs and she's got a unique, fearless sense of style. She's in all the good sense of the word, a breed of her own. She's my fabulous girl of the week: Solange Knowles (and she's got her own cool blog called My Damn Blog http://mydamnblog.com/).
