I just recently discovered my favorite website, maybe some of you already know about it and maybe some of you still haven't heard of it. It's called The Coveteur http://www.thecoveteur.com/ The whole purpose of this amazing website is to give people the chance to show off their most prized and personal items, one closet at a time. Their motto is as follows:
"It's more interesting to have just a picture of a small detail - then you can dream all the rest around it. Because when you see the whole thing, what is there to imagine?" -Dries Van Noten
Since this morning I started the topic of CLOSET SOLUTIONS http://stylebyred.blogspot.com/2011/05/closet-solutions.html, I decided to pay my favorite website a visit in search for some shoe display ideas. Of course I found some amazing ones and some that just make me a little bit nervous.
Here's what I found. Take a look at all them and let me know which shoe display style you looove the most.

This one is perhaps one of my favorite shoe display solutions, however it looks like you do need lots of closet space to do something like this, unless you live alone in an apartment and maybe decide to turn a whole room into a closet, which is what I might be doing in a little while. My own private Boudoir.

Too messy for my taste.

For some reason this type of shoe displaying reminds me of my grandmother, although I have to admit it can be space efficient.

This is the shoe box collector type of display. So representative of people that don't want to let go of the box, for some reason they feel it's part of the shoe's identity. While the idea seems to be highly efficient I don't think visually it works that well. However, in the end it all falls down to what works best for you.
