OUTFIT POST: HOW TO WEAR A BUSTIER AND TULLE SKIRT

Ok guys, just as promised. I procrastinated for a little while buuuuut here you have it, a complete outfit look. Yet another narcissistic post about me. I kind of wanted to stop with the narcissism which is why I started doing the outfit details posts but you guys asked for it, and of course you're wishes are my command (not all though, I'm not getting naked). I'm telling you, moving to another country is not easy. In Guatemala I had a cool background for my outfit posts and I also had a team of incredible professionals working with me on my Mademoiselle Red posts but now that I moved to Miami I have to start from zero all over again. It's ok, no biggie, we did it once, we'll do it again. Ain't nobody got no time to be afraid of new challenges. I have faith that God will lead me to the right people and when I least expect it I'm gonna be working again with amazing creative people.

By the way, I can't believe my necklace flipped around in most of the photographs, sorry for that, photographing oneself is not easy. Anyhow you get the point. Also, In case you didn't get to see the outfit details post click here

HOW TO DRESS GIRLIE AND LOVE IT

I know that more often than not the idea of wearing just jeans a white t-shirt and converse shoes seems like the best idea in the world and the most comfortable thing to do, specially if you're in a hurry (like most women are). For me more than a white t-shirt it's a chambray shirt, jeans, and converse (or boots, or flats). However, after a while of wearing this and only this in it's many variations I start to feel like I've lost touch with my feminine side. Lately I've been experimenting a lot with my girlieness and I have to say I've been having quite a lot of fun. Being girlie is fun, I didn't want to admit it but it is. So if you feel like you need to get in touch with your girlie side again here are a few easy tips:

1. Wear more dresses and skirts (flatter your body type and enhance your favorite parts).
2. Wear more vibrant color (find the ones that are the most harmonious with your own coloring).
3. Experiment with prints.
4. Wear more accessories (do not overload).
5. Go for natural beautiful hair and makeup.

Easy no? If you feel a little bit overwhelmed that's ok, good news is I can help. If you think you need a personal stylist to help you achieve your girlieness, you can always hire me.

Here's a super girlie outfit that I put together yesterday. Hope you feel inspired!

EXPLORING MY GIRLIE SIDE

On Sunday, a day before my trip to Guatemala,  I decided to head myself to my happy place Anthropologie (by now you've already noticed how big of a fan I am) to find something artsy to wear for my friend's Manny Rionda photo exhibition to take place on July 4 at the Museo Ixchel here in Guatemala City. Hidden away in the "last items in store" rack I found this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G Daksha Stitched Blouse. It's sleeveless with a peplum bottom. I kinda look like a fluffy cupcake but I love it, specially now that I'm exploring my girlie side. I'm thinking about wearing it with my Rag & Bone white skinny jeans and silver J.Crew pumps. I can't wait to wear it! Anyhow... Here's a preview of my beautiful outfit. Isn't it the most gorgeous thing ever!
