Good afternoon dear followers. I think it was yesterday that a dear Style by Red follower (Pamela) commented on one of my posts ( the IRENE post to be more exact http://stylebyred.blogspot.com/2011/05/irene.html) and asked me if I had any tips to give her regarding how to get rid of the excess jeans?
This is what she wrote:
I have to do that with my jeans.....it's SCARY just to think about it! I have a big collection of old jeans which I don't even use anymore...i just don't know which ones to keep! or just throw them all? lol...any tips!?
I of course wrote her immediately with some tips I thought would help her with her jeans situation. She was very pleased with what I wrote, which got me thinking: why not share my advice with the rest of you guys.
For some reason women feel compelled (by their own inner evil forces)to accumulate excess amounts of jeans. This is a disease that 99.9% of my clients suffer from, and that I'm sure many of you can relate to. We've all been there, done that, again...you're not alone.
Here are 6 useful tips on how to get rid of all those excess jeans inside your closet:
1. Take a look at all your jeans, anything from the 90's has to go!!!
2. Then take another look, if you haven't worn it in 2 years (I'd say even a year) it has to go!!!
3. If it doesn't fit IT HAS TO GO!!! I know you're probably dreaming about getting into those jeans one of this days but the truth is who knows!!! OUT.
4. If it's baggy IT HAS TO GO unless they are those pair of jeans you like to wear around the house to feel comfortable or play with the dog. Odds are they make your behind look flat.
5. If the cut and wash are outdated IT HAS TO GO AS WELL.

6. Anything Calvin Klein has to go (sorry Calvin).

So there you go, easy as that and if you still find it difficult to get the nerve to throw them away, just give me a call and I'll come to the rescue, maybe you need to go thru jeans rehab: Hi my name is Maria and I'm addicted to jeans ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Please, feel free to share you experiences with jeans overdose, maybe people out there need to know they're not alone.
