MIAMI WEATHER APPROPRIATE

In case you where wondering... these where our "weather appropriate" outfits from yesterday. I seriously don't know what I was thinking. I just wanted to feel comfortable while looking at art but instead I ended up boiling lol! 

Por si se quedaron pensando... estos fueron nuestros "atuendos apropiados" del día de ayer. En serio no sé qué estaba pensando. Solamente quería sentirme cómoda mientras veía arte pero en vez de eso me paré cocinando jajaja!

MIAMI ART BASEL: UNTITLED ART & FASHION

Yesterday my friend Gabriela and I wen to see UNTITLED on the beach (literally). We met at Lincoln Road and decided to walk all the way to Ocean Drive where the tent is at. We're athletic women (specially Gaby who runs marathons) so we didn't mind the walking, it was our not so appropriate for the weather outfit that was killing us lol! I don't know what the hell we where thinking! Gaby even brought a jacket, and she lives here. I guess we thought that since it was December it would probably get a little chilly but of course it didn't. Our own ignorance showed us a lesson. Anyhow, UNTITLED was pretty interesting. I loved the fact that the tent is on the beach with an ocean front view and a lot of air conditioning inside.  Here are some images. 

El día de ayer mi amiga Gabriela y yo fuimos a ver UNTITLED en la playa (literalmente). Nos juntamos en Lincoln Road y decidimos caminar hasta Ocean Drive donde estaba localizada la carpa. Ambas somos mujeres atléticas (especialmente Gaby quien corre maratones) por lo cual no nos molestaba en lo absoluto caminar, eran nuestros atuendos no tan apropiados para el clima que nos estaban matando jajaja! Realmente no sé qué estábamos pensando! Gaby incluso llevaba una chaqueta y eso que vive en Miami. Creo que ambas pensamos que por ser diciembre quizás estaría un poco fresco pero por supuesto que eso nunca sucedió. Nuestra propia ignorancia nos dio una lección. En fin, UNTITLED estuvo muy interesante. Me encantó que la carpa estaba ubicada en la playa con vista al mar y con mucho aire acondicionado. He aquí algunas imágenes.

Seamos honestos. Siempre se trata de moda. Por cierto esos zapatos son Balenciaga. Lo sé no porque le pregunté a la chica sino porque los vi en The Webster.
