Once a month Saúl E. Méndez organizes a farmers market at Paseo Cayalá. It used to be at Saúl E. Méndez headquarters but little by little it has been evolving into something a little bit bigger. I still believe that the idea of the farmers market is something great, it gives people something different to do once a month and it's an opportunity for small, local artisans and producers to show their products. Even though Paseo Cayalá is a very beautiful place and while I do understand that if you want to make thing's bigger sometimes you just got to move, nothing compares to the first FM held at the Saúl headquartes, they used to be so much cozier and the ambiance in general was so much cooler. I think a lot of people would agree with me on that. Still we went and enjoyed a very pleasant sunny Sunday morning. On my next post I will show you some of my favorite things at the farmers market, right now it's all about my outfit.
As we all know, every girl needs a dress that makes her feel fresh and comfortable, this is one of them for me. I've had it for years and I bought it at a very low profile store in Antigua Guatemala back in 2006 I think. The weather today in Guatemala was soooo nice that I decided to wear it. To personalize my outfit I went for my red lipstick (of course), raffia hat from Anthropologie and necklace also from Anthropologie. The hat I bought it when I went to Miami a couple of months ago and the necklace is reeeeeeaaaaally old too, I seldom ever wear it but I thought today with this dress was the perfect opportunity.
