MORE 2012 MET GALA RED CARPET

Ok, ok, I was thrilled to see more pictures of this year's Met Gala I was starting to feel a bit disappointed about the pictures that where available online last night I was like: is this it!!!??? Fortunately this morning when I woke up I found that this lovely ladies proved me wrong. I have to say that my favorite designer that made his presence this 2012 Met Gala was Givenchy absolutely fantastic!!! All of Givenchy's dresses where amazing, Live Tyler, Gisele Bundchen, Byoncé and Rooney Mara. I also loved that they where all black, quite a statement.

My top three favorite ladies at this year's Met Gala where... (in order of preference)

1. Rooney Mara in Givenchy (she's always my favorite, her approach to minimalism is impeccable, and she's absolutely gorgeous).

2. Marion Cotillard in Dior.

3. Cate Blanchet in Alexander McQueen.

So there you go...you make your own choice.  Later on I'll be showing you my top 3 worst dressed women at this 2012 Met Gala and also the most hideous (seriously!!!).

Cate Blanchett in Alexander McQueen

Diane Kruger in Diane von Furstenberg

2012 MET GALA RED CARPET LOOKS

Here are some of my favorite 2012 Met Gala red carpet looks... Even though some people considered Carey Mulligan and Karolina Kurkova to be two of the worst dressed at the Met Gala this year, sorry I liked them, I think they where bold without looking hideous like Emma Stone or Elizabeth banks. They are both beautiful girls that where brave enough to take a risk without going overboard. I think sometimes it's plain boooooooring to see everyone in OK pretty dresses. What would be of this events without the attention grabbers and risk takers? A lot of women looked beautiful but sometimes I get bored to see the same type of dresses everyone wears year after year. However they still look good. What would I wear If I where invited to go to a Met Gala? I would probably go minimalist like Rooney Mara, she's always my favorite.

Ana Wintour in Prada

Carey Mulligan in Prada

Solange Knowles in Rachel Roy

Rooney Mara in Givenchy (my favorite!!!)

Sofía Vergara in Marchesa

Karolina Kurkova in Rachel Zoe

THE WEBSTER COLLABORATION WITH TARGET

I'm a firm believer that good news needs to be spread. The Webster has just recently collaborated with a women's wear collection for Target. Everyone know Target but for those of you who don't know what The Webster is I'll tell you what it is. The Webster is THE Miami store located in the heart of SOBE in a historical Art Deco building designed in 1939 by architect Henry Hohauser. It's a three level multi brand boutique carrying collections for both men and women from designers such as Alexander Wang, Givenchy, Lanvin, Proenza Schouler amongst others. Just recently Proenza Schouler designed a PS 1 Pouch bag for The Webster. Needless to say, it's the place to go when in Miami.

The good news? The Webster is holding a contest, fun right? What's it about? Here are the instructions to follow...

Here's what you have to do:

1) Follow us on Pinterest at "The Webster Miami" and follow all of our boards by clicking "Follow All."

2) Create a board of your own called "My Webster Inspiration" repinning looks from our Target collection AND Webster pieces that inspires you and that you are looking forward to buying!

3) Submit the URL of your board to socialmedia@thewebstermiami.com by SUNDAY by midnight.
