BOMBORA LOOK OF THE WEEK: ROMANTIC BOHEMIAN

(English)

Good morning everyone! What better way to start the day than with a Bombora Boutique look of the week post. Our first Bombora look of the week post was a bit more aggressive and with a hint of rock n'roll for the fearless woman. Today is all about those hopeless romantic girls. Yes! We have something for everyone. How beautiful is this baby doll kind of dress? In the summer you can wear it with sandals to go the beach, and when the temperature drops down a few degrees you can still wear it by putting on a pair of thick black tights, booties, and if its too cold you can cover yourself with a big chunky grandpa cardigan. Can you visualize it? I didn't want to go crazy with accessories so I chose a vintage necklace to go with the bohemian romantic mood. I know you girls love it! Don't forget to LIKE Bombora Boutique on Facebook, and of course don't forget to visit them. They only carry selected pieces so if you like what you see don't waist your time thinking about it and go get it! By the way, the also carry this dress in black.

HOW TO WEAR BLACK LEGGINGS IN THE WINTER

I still can't decide if the invention of the leggings was a life savior or a true fashion catastrophe. I for instance don't own a single pair of them. I know that for pregnant women they are most definitely a savior but most of the time a catastrophe on most women. However I do have to admit that if done correctly they can look quite chic, it's because of this premise that lately I have been contemplating the idea of getting myself a pair.

Since I'm always looking out for your best interest I engaged myself in an intensive research to find the true definition of leggings and what's the difference between leggings and tights, two very similar but also very different things.

Leggings are a type of skin tight clothing covering the legs, which can be worn by both men and women (this is kind of scary). Modern leggings are typically made from a blend of lycra, spandex, nylon, cotton or polyester blend, but they can also be made from wool, silk and other materials.

The first difference between tights and leggings is the material used to make them. As a general rule, tights are slightly thinner than leggings, and are not intended to be worn alone (meaning you are not supposed to show your behind or crotch). Leggings are made of thicker material, and though its is not recommended in fashion, they may be worn alone.

The next difference in tights and leggings is length. Tights generally stretch over the feet and all the way up to the waist, entirely covering the legs. Leggings usually end at the ankle, and do not normally cover the feet.

So... even though leggings are supposedly allowed to be worn alone I personally recommend that you wear them with something that covers your butt and crotch. Also even though they come in a variety of lengths I prefer the longer ones because I think aesthetically speaking they look better, unless its summer and you're sailing at the French Riviera.

With all this information in mind, I prepared for you three different outfit ideas for you to try at home. Hope you find them inspiring!
