There's something special about vintage custom jewelry, it is full of personality, and it has a story to tell. Kate Spade says in her book Style that the first rule of costume jewelry is to wear it and enjoy it. Boy do I know that! A few years back I found a box filled with my mother's costume jewelry. Some I had to throw away because they where in terrible conditions but I also got to keep a collection of really fun earrings that I obviously wear all the time. I'm lucky though because I'm tall, which means I can wear earrings the size of apples and actually look good. Some people can look a bit ridiculous. Remember it's all about proportions... Then again, if it makes you happy why not wear it? Like Kate Spade says in her book: Dress your own rules. Style is not about the rules.
Hay algo especial en la joyería fantasía vintage, está llena de personalidad y tiene una historia que contar. Kate Spade dice en su libro Style que la primera regla de joyería fantasía es vestirla y disfrutarla. Vaya si no sabré yo de eso! Hace algunos años atrás encontré una caja llena de joyería fantasía de mi mamá. Algunas piezas las tuve que tirar porque estaban en pésimas condiciones pero también me tocó quedarme con una colección de aretes divertidos que obviamente uso todo el tiempo. Soy afortunada porque soy alta lo cual quiere decir que puedo usar aretes del tamaño de una manzana y verme bien. Algunas personas se verían un poco ridículas. Recuerden que todo está en las proporciones... Aunque si te hace feliz por qué no ponértelo? Como dice Kate Spade en su libro: Viste bajo tus propias reglas. Estilo no se trata de reglas.

definitivamente el estilo no se trata de reglas, pero, yo que soy petite si me siento ridícula con accesorios grandes, eres afortunada de poder usarlos. Mi abuela tiene una gran colección casi siempre saco cosas de su closet cuando voy de visita jijiji... amo lo vintage!
