IT'S A CAPE HEAVEN!!!

You remember my Little Miss Red Looks Fall Chic post from Tuesday? Well... Today I almost died and went to cape heaven when I read about Leslie Tessler on Daily Candy. She's literally the queen of capes. Her philosophy is as follows:

"Having elected to abandon the traditional seasonal model, our mission is to create classic expertly tailored pieces that never go out of style; opting always for timeless over trendy."

The label was founded by Leslie Tessler herself in 2011. Leslie is based between New York City and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

¿Se recuerdan de mi Little Miss Red Looks Fall Chic post del martes? Bueno... Esta mañana casi muero y voy directamente al paraíso de las capas cuando leí sobre Leslie Tessler en Daily Candy. Ella es literalmente la reina de las capas. Su filosofía es la siguiente:

"Habiendo elegido abandonar el tradicional modelo de estaciones, nuestra misión es crear piezas sastre clásicas expertamente creadas que nunca pasan de moda; optando siempre por eterno antes de modernoso." 

La marca fue fundada por la Leslie Tessler misma en el 2011. Leslie tiene su sede en las ciudades de New York y Buenos Aires Argentina.

THE MYSTERY HAS BEEN SOLVED

Ahhh what would I do without you guys, you're always so helpful and diligent. Thank's to: Anonymous reader, Jennifer H Turner, and Mónica from ThirtySomethingChic who cleared out the Pinterest photograph mystery for me. No estoy en nada!!! (there's no English translation for this) lol!!!

Anyhow... the lovely girl with the green pants and denim jacket is Blair Eadie who has a very famous blog (apparently I was the only one who didn't know about it) called Atlantic Pacific where she posts her daily looks. If you haven't visited it like me (what where we thinking) I highly recommend that you do. She has some pretty awesome outfits.

En fin...la hermosa chica con los pantalones verdes y la chaqueta de lona es Blair Eadie quien tiene un blog muy famoso (el cual aparentemente yo era la única que no lo conocía) llamado Atlantic Pacific en donde sube sus looks diarios. Si aún no lo han visitado como yo (qué estábamos pensando) les recomiendo que lo hagan. Tiene looks muy lindos.

How beautiful this fashion editorial by US Vogue. Of course the artistic genius of Grace Coddington had to be behind it. I love the oversized voluminous proportions and shapes of the clothes, the colors and contrasts, and the textures. If I could look this stylish, fashionable, and sophisticated in the winter then I would definitely move to a country with a really cold winter.

I wonder... Are all the pants cropped or are the models just really tall?

Que hermoso este editorial de moda por la revista Vogue Estados Unidos. Por supuesto que la genialidad artística de Grace Coddington tenía que estar detrás de el. Amo las proporciones y formas exageradas y voluminosas de la ropa, los colores, los contrastes y las texturas. Si pudiera verme así de estilosa, a la moda y sofisticada en el invierno, entonces si que me mudaría a un país con inviernos fuertes. 

Me pregunto... Será que todos los pantalones son cortos o será que las modelos son demasiado altas?

COSMICA BY STUDIO MAS

Yesterday my friend Renee and I attended the launch of COSMICA at Morena. COSMICA is the new accessories collection from the girls of Studio MAS inspired by the cosmos. 

MAS is formed by a group of women designers who are passionate about creating design and fashion. Every collection is characterized by being theme inspired. Their past collections include Alicia, and Bunny Necks both very romantic and feminine.

Every single piece they ever make is handmade and one of a kind.  I'd heard of MAS before but I had never seen their collections in person. I have to admit I was so impressed by the work done by the girls that of course I had to buy myself a piece. Let me say it was no easy task choosing amongst a variety of really amazing necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets but in the end I decided to get this wonderful neon necklace. Tomorrow I'm definitely wearing it for Style Sessions.
