What I wore today on Style Sessions. One of my favorite looks lately. I either wear this outfit with my leopard print J.Crew pumps or with my Steve Madden biker boots. A classic with a twist look.

What I wore to work on Friday courtesy of Bombora Boutique. Visit Bombora online and don't forget to LIKE them on Facebook. On Friday temperature dropped down a little bit, which is why I decided to wear my maxi dress with tights underneath and biker boots. I didn't feel like accessorizing on Friday but this dress would look pretty amazing with big earrings (keep them proportional to your size).

El viernes bajó un poco la temperatura en Guatemala, por lo cual decidí ponerme mi vestido con tights por debajo y botas biker. No sentí muchos deseos de ponerme accesorios el viernes pero este vestido se vería hermoso con unos aretes grandes (manténlos proporcionales a tu tamaño).

HOW TO WEAR POLKA DOTS

Finally after like a month of absence I'm back to Style Sessions. Feels good to be back home with my peeps. Our topic of the day was spring 2013 trend forecast. It's already time to start planning looks for this spring, although in Guatemala is spring all year round (Yeah! we're that lucky).

Today I decided to wear my white button down shirt from J.Crew (lately I've developed an obsession with white button down shirts), polka dot-cropped-cigarette leg-J.Crew pants, and spiked-yellow Schutz heels. I'm not a very big fan of polka dots. Let me rephrase that: I don't like polka dots, but for some reason I thought this pants where kind of cool. With my yellow shoes I think they look pretty bad ass. They do make me look like 10 pounds heavier from my bottom half but who cares! I know what you're all thinking: Majo and Cathy do have killer legs! 

Finalmente después de como un mes de ausencia estoy de vuelta a Sesiones de Estilo. Se siente muy bien estar de vuelta a casa con mis colegas. Nuestro tema del día fue predicción de tendencias primavera 2013. Es momento ya de empezar a planear atuendos para la primavera, aunque en Guatemala es primavera todo el año (Sí! así somos de privilegiados). 

Hoy decidí ponerme mi camisa de botones blanca de J.Crew (recientemente he desarrollado una obsesión por camisas blancas de botones), pantalones de lunares-de pierna recta-al tobillo-de J.Crew, y mis tacones amarillos con púas de Schutz. No soy muy amante de los lunares. Déjenme re-parrafrasear eso: No me gustan los lunares, pero por alguna razón pensé que estos pantalones estaban algo cool. Con mis tacones amarillos creo que se ven increíbles (no sé como traducir bad ass al español jaja). Si me hacen ver como 10 libras más pesada en mi parte de abajo pero a quien le importa! Sé lo que todos están pensando: Majo y Cathy tienen unas piernasas!

MIDNIGHT IN PARIS

Yesterday we shot a christmas commercial for Canal Antigua, the TV network I work for. We had to dress wintery and festive. I said: no red, definitely no bells, and no Santa Claus hats for me thank you. 

This is what I chose to wear. My friends from the network said I looked like a character from the film "Midnight in Paris." How come I always end up looking vintage, I don't do it intentionally, it just happens. By the way, it was sooooo cold! I froze my buttocks! 

El día de ayer grabamos un comercial de navidad para Canal Antigua, el canal de TV para el cual trabajo. Tuvimos que vestirnos invernales y festivos. Yo dije: nada rojo, definitivamente nada de campanas y nada de sombreros de Santa Claus para mi gracias.

Esto es lo que elegí vestir. Mis amigas del canal dijeron que parecía un personaje de la película "Midnight in Paris." Por que será que siempre termino viéndome vintage, no lo hago intencional, simplemente sucede. Por cierto, estaba friiiiisimo! Me congelé las nalgas!
